Cartoonist best known for Integration Is a Bitch! (1969). Editorial cartoonist for the Chicago Defender and the Gary Post-Tribune, and one cartoon was included in Charles Brooks' Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year (1984). He had three features at the Chicago Defender in the 1960s: At the Brink with J.J. (later renamed King Freedom), Color Cuties, and Integration Chuckles. Floyd ran his own advertising business in Gary, Indiana, and worked as a designer of visual aids at Inland Steel. In 1971, he was vice president of W.V. Rouse & Associates of Chicago, engaged in minority relations.
