Magic: The Gathering artist who produced over 100 pieces of artwork for Magic: The Gathering throughout his career, and also worked on other games. "Beyond Magic, Spears created illustrations for Upper Deck, Dungeons & Dragons, and Blizzard. He also illustrated Jason Alexander's children's book, Dad Are You the Tooth Fairy? Spears passed away due to complications from a brain tumor, according to a Facebook post from his longtime friend Mark Aronowitz."
