Edward Mortelmans

Began work as a window dresser in Edward Meekers clothing stores from about age 15. Worked as a laborer for his father and attended the Slade School or Art in London in his early 20s. He entered the army in 1941 and left at the end of WWII in 1945, returning to the Slade School for several years. Produced covers for many paperback books for Gordon Landsborough at various of his publishing houses.
