A Portuguese writer, musician, editor, and publications director, he produced radio shows and contributed to several children's magazines, including Lord Doctor, Rim-Tim-Tim, and notably ABC-zinho, where he introduced the character Detective Metonarizentudo. He was initially hired by Mario Aguiar as chief editor, later stepping up to direct Mundo de Aventuras, one of the most prominent comic book magazines in Portugal. After rising to literary director at the influential Agência Portuguesa de Revistas, he played a crucial role in publishing many of the group's highly successful titles, such as Cóndor, Popular Cóndor, Mickey Mouse, Tíger, Policía, Espaço, Guerra, Selección, Selecçoes Tarzán, and Roy Rogers, among others. Additionally, his career included writing several detective novels and coordinating sticker album collections, for which he also authored the text.
