Synopsis
Carole had been a famous toothpaste model until a man drowned, leaving a letter implying that she led him on to steal money. Now she returns to her hometown with the scandal hanging over her. Meanwhile, a stranger has come to town with the goal of making her fall in love with him, but his motives seem suspicious.
