Only 100 of these mostly blank copies were printed. They were all then given to 100 different artist's who drew, painted, etc... on the blank covers. While the front cover has the trade dressing printed on it, the back cover is 100% blank. Some artists took advantage of the blank back cover and created wraparound art images.

The purpose of this project was to collect the images of all 100 finished covers in a book, known as the "Wolverine Weapon X Project."

Both the hardcover and softcover edition of the "Wolverine Weapon X 100 Project" book, through special arrangement with Marvel Comics, were limited to one (1) initial printing and will not be reprinted.
