Synopsis

A man out on the moors at night in the depth of winter asks for help at Heather's cottage. Despite being alone, she invites him in and he introduces himself as the prison governor's secretary. As he talks about the plight of an escaped prisoner, Heather wonders if he is the escaped prisoner.
