Synopsis

Jonathan never wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father's career. But after meeting and promising to marry Elsie, he realized he had no choice if he wanted to make a living. His job kept him away for days at a time, and every time Elsie inquired about what he did for a living, Johnathon refused tell her. One day, he returned home to find that his wife had been fooling around with another man and had killed him. Elsie is sentenced to death by hanging, and it was there she discovered what Jonathon did for a living. He was a hangman!
