Synopsis
After young Clark Kent uses his powers of x-ray vision and heat vision for the first time, Clark's parents show him the rocket they found him in. Holograms of his birth parents appear from it and explain who Clark is, but he runs away. Later, Clark and Lana Lang meet young Lex Luthor at a county fair. Lex shows Clark a green rock he found, causing Clark to collapse. Just then a tornado kicks up and to save Lana, Clark flies for the first time. After telling his folks what happened, Ma uses the blankets from the rocket to make a uniform for Clark to wear as Superboy.

The copyright date for the compilation is 2010, but that was for the hardcover Deluxe Edition. This softcover trade paperback didn't come out until December 2011 (as scheduled).
