Synopsis
The Avengers perform a battery of tests on Spider-Man to probe his new violent behavior, but they do not discover that Octavius has taken over his consciousness and simply place him on probation. But later, armed with the test results, Otto calculates that some portion of Peter Parker has remained within him and he is determined to eradicate it.

This variant cover has the same pencils and inks as the “Superior Spider-Man (Marvel, 2013 series) #7 cover. The only difference between the two is that the background artwork is in grayscale on this variant.
