Synopsis
A teacher had promised Lotty's grandfather that he would look after her as best he could. He loves Lotty, but she dreams of the wealthy banker's son. When it is decided that a motorway will be built through her property, she receives fifty-thousand pounds, However, she discovers that even with her new-found wealth, she is still out of place at the Dorlan home.
