Synopsis

After an alien attack kills 60% of Earth's humans, the Benefactors help Earth recover so that it can join the Galactic Alliance in its fight against the attackers. To make up the numbers quickly, the Benefactors bestow human-level intelligence upon gorillas, who now live and work alongside humans.
