Synopsis

Despite no encouragement from her, Susan always seems to attract men away from their girlfriends. Susan's boss hires Andrew to ensure his son marries the daughter of a business partner, but the son is infatuated with Susan. Andrew offers Susan a business proposition: they will pretend to be engaged to cool her unwanted suitors until she gets the Paris job she wants and he gets the 500 pounds offered by Maynard. She buys her own engagement ring as part of the ruse and the plan is working. But Susan discovers she really wants Andrew.
