Synopsis

High school student Sue thinks she’s too mature to hang around with her teen friends. She takes a summer job at a drive-in restaurant and meets Fred, a wealthy older man. Sue’s father forbids her to see Fred, but she resists and agrees to elope with Fred. Her ex-boyfriend Billy spots them and causes a commotion. The police arrest Fred, actually just a “slick racetrack gambler” who has a habit of preying on young women.
