Synopsis

After buying a tract of forest in British Columbia, a widower brings his two daughters from England. To attempt to make Grant jealous, Miranda leaves a local dance with another man to walk in the woods. Her escort is attacked and drowns in the river. Miranda can't identify the attacker, but suspicion centers on Grant.
