Synopsis
Diane was an extra in the Shane Repertory Company and had a crush on the leading man. When both the female lead and her understudy are incapacitated, Diane is given a chance to play the lead and gets rave reviews. However, when that night leads to an opportunity to play the lead in a different play, she realizes her earlier success was due to the way the original role paralleled her real-life crush on the leading man rather than her acting ability.
