Synopsis
The only daughter of a wealthy widower meets a trumpet player in a London cellar jazz club while visiting her cousin. She falls in love with the musician, but when her father hears of the relationship he cuts his daughter's holiday short and forces her to return home. He then tries to bribe the young man to stay away from his daughter, but is refused. However, a singer with her own sights set on the young man accepts the money and intercepts their letters.
