Synopsis

Barbara is transferred to the publicity department as a typist and catches the eye of her boss. Escorting glamorous starlets is part of Don's job, but Barbara doesn't worry about them until she sees an expense statement that shows Don and Samantha were not at the place where he said they would be. Barbara refuses to listen to his explanation. But one night while watching a romantic serial on TV, she realizes the story has an uncanny resemblance to her life. She decides she must track down the write to find out how the serial ends.
