Synopsis

Eve has a happy family life, although her mother isn't well and the doctor says it is important for her to remain calm. At work, where Eve works as secretary at a detective agency, there is a growing mutual attraction between Eve and Jack. But when an elegant woman offers a large sum of money to locate a man she says she was married to 20 years earlier, Eve recognizes the man in the photo is her stepfather from the same photo she had seen at home. Anguished, Eve feels she must prevent Jack from discovering her stepfather is the man they are looking for.
