Synopsis

A small-town girl with dreams of being a fashion designer wins first prize in a dress design contest put on by the Happy Home Sewing Company. The prize is three weeks in a luxury hotel in London and two thousand pounds. While on the trip she sees an advertisement in a fashion trade magazine stating that a famous man in the contemporary fashion scene is looking for an experienced, trained assistant designer. When she sees him, the man tells her that her designs are badly cut and lack originality, but seems to be interested in her personally.
