Synopsis

The new handsome French doctor is coldly aloof with everyone. He finally tells Sally how he and his girlfriend had volunteered to go to Vietnam during the French War in Indochina. During an attack, he had been shot while they were trying to flee through the jungle and Angelique had to give him regular morphine injections for the pain until they finally reached a base hospital. But his new addition to the drug drove away Angelique and cost him his job on the hospital staff. He came to England where, after a year of intensive treatment, his addiction was cured.
