Synopsis

Sham Sheriff Walt again considers telling the world his brother Wayne is the real gunfighter, especially when Wayne catches Walt's flubbed captives while fishing! Wayne insists he wait until the "Boy Sheriff Contest" winner is announced. OK. But the boy who wins insists he's a failure and can't act as Boy Sheriff! Walt takes him on patrol, and spooks the Flat Hat Gang, and is wounded. Yet he faces them down, defenseless. The boy takes heart and kicks their guns aside. He'll act as Sheriff for the day! "Still thinking of resigning, Walt?" "Who, me?"
