Synopsis
The European swordsman Rodriguez is a guest in the court of Lord Odo, pitting his European swordsmanship against Japanese techniques. As part of his report on Japan, he demands Lord Odo show him an example of hara-kiri by demanding the death of Nobu, the tea master. Lord Odo complies and Nobu begrudgingly gives his life. Disgusted by Rodriguez, Nobu's friend Usagi offers to fight Rodriguez to the death and concludes the battle by disembowelling Rodriguez so he can experience the effect of hara-kiri.
