Synopsis

Betty dreads the boring New Year party held annually at her office. There is the chairman's long speech, Mr. Lucas does his recitation, Mr. Parfitt does his card tricks, but worst of all, Mr. Hodgkins is waiting at the door for the girls to get his New Year's kiss. Betty vows that, if that man kisses her again at this year's New Year's Eve party, she will crown him. But Mr. Hodgkins can't make it this year. In his place, he has deputized his young office assistant to handle the traditional kiss and Betty suddenly finds she loves parties.
