Synopsis

Ann's inheritance makes her wealthy, but she is besieged by people who are only interested in her money. She receives a letter from a friend with a key to her lonely house, asking Ann to look after it while she was away. Ann enjoys the opportunity to go some place where no one knows her. She meets a doctor and falls in love, but she keeps her wealth a secret because of his hatred of wealthy people. Only after their wedding does he learn that she is rich.
