Synopsis

When Julia arrives at the stage door to prepare for her job in the chrous, a young man asked her to give his flower to the star dancer, saying she would know what it meant. However, when Julia attempted to present the blue dahlia to Katia, the star flew into a rage. Later Julia receives a visit from Katia's personal maid who told Julia how Katia had given up love six years earlier to live only for dance. Philip continued bringing a flower each night, but not wanting to cause another scene with Katia, Julia kept them to herself and started seeing him in the cafe after her shows.
