Synopsis

With only one Christmas tree left, Mary and another man grab it at the same time. Eventually, they agree to share the tree. Mary will have it for her party, then the other man will call for it about ten. When Mary's party is in full swing, John calls to tell Mary he is going to Doreen's party instead. At ten, the other man comes to claim his turn with the tree and invites Mary to his party. Not wanting to mope about John, Mary goes and discovers the man's girlfriend had also called to tell him she was going with someone else. Mary and the other man end up having a private party for two.
