Synopsis

Ann is hired to be the secretary for a stage comedian, loved by millions but a cad offstage. Ann loathes him, but loves him in spite of herself. When Danny attempts to steal the girlfriend of a powerful film producer who has the power to destroy his career, Ann lies for Danny and tells Mr. Standish that it was her he had seen in Danny's car, not Rita. Danny appreciates Ann's gesture and is willing to give himself to her, but she turns him down since she knows he could never change.
