Synopsis
Force Works realize that not everything is black and white with regard to who's the good guys and who's the bad guys in Slorenia. After locating Ember, he reveals to Force Works who he is and why he's fighting against the government. Black Brigade turns up, and Ember is seemingly killed during the fight. Meanwhile, the Recorder is somehow influencing PLATO to forget new crisis alerts.

Enclosed in a polybag which included a 16-page Marvel Action Hour Preview magazine of the same size as the comic book and 1 of 6 different acetate prints. The magazine was a Genesis Entertainment promotion for the 1994–1996 syndicated animated television show. The promotion encompassed single issues of 6 titles; Fantastic Four (Marvel, 1961 series) #394, Force Works (Marvel, 1994 series) #5, Iron Man (Marvel, 1968 series) #310, Marvel Action Hour, Featuring Iron Man (Marvel, 1994 series) #1, Marvel Action Hour, Featuring the Fantastic Four (Marvel, 1994 series) #1, and War Machine (Marvel, 1994 series) #8. The promotion also ran a sweepstakes requiring the return of 3 polybags to be eligible to win additional prizes.
