Synopsis

On Rann, while battling Despero's army of mind-controlled Rannians and Kaladorians, Adam must destroy the Zeta Portal that Despero plans to use to invade Earth, while Katar and Despero have a final showdown. Katar unleashes all the Nth metal in his body into Despero, seemingly killing the villain, but draining his own life force. When the Zeta Portal explodes, Katar, Despero, and Adam are caught in the explosion and all are believed dead. Adam survives, but is trapped in a strange dimension, while at the edge of the universe, Despero's body re-forms and destroys Katar's remains.
