Synopsis
Fran Bronson is rescued from a thunderstorm by Bret Hewlett and they continue seeing each other. They are married after they graduate from college and Bret takes over his father's farm. Fran begins to resent the lonely, hard work of being a farmer's wife. At first, Bret and Fran fight about it, but then they apologize to each other. Bret acknowledges that he has neglected Fran and promises that things will be different.
