Synopsis

After the death of Doctor Decker, his assistant Sandra's husband Bob Stanley continues his work in a lab in Australia. He recreates the growth serum and injects it into Sandra's pet monkey who is named Konga after the previous monkey that Decker experimented on. Sure enough the new Konga turns into a gorilla and then grows into a giant. Eventually Konga is taken out to sea in a freighter which sinks during a typhoon. Konga comes ashore on a prehistoric island and battles and slays a Tyrannosaurus, before the island is destroyed by a volcanic eruption.
