Synopsis
As the Persians invade Greece, Athens and Sparta concert their actions against the enemy. Spartan King Leonidas holds the Pass of Thermopylae with 300 men against repeated assaults by vastly superior numbers. But Spartans opposed to Leonidas plot to leave him stranded, rather than sending reinforcements, and a Greek traitor guides the Persians around the Pass. Leonidas and his men fight and die in place, in obedience to the Spartan laws.
