Synopsis

Aspiring novelist Eva moves to New York to start her career, but only meets rejection and lecherous publishers. She finally gets encouragement and coaching from Ted, and becomes a success. Ted proposes marriage and Eva agrees, but just out of gratitude. Ted is frustrated at her frigid attitude and leaves her. Eva realises she does love him, and they reconcile.
