Synopsis
The Silver Surfer reflects on the events that lead up to his transformation from the philosophically challenged Norrin Radd into the comically powered herald of Galactus, only to be imprisoned on Earth.

This mini comic was a premium that was bundled with the release of the "Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer" DVD 2-disc Target store exclusive. The cover is a reprint of the original cover of Silver Surfer (Marvel, 1968 series) #1, and includes the original printed price, which in this case is to be overlooked. The indicia states the price as $0.00 per copy in the U.S.A. and Canada. The comic reprints the first issue of The Silver Surfer in its entirety, sans original ads.
