Synopsis

Nick tries to avoid a man that he once saved from falling off a building (because the man's back was broken in the process). When the man finally catches up to him, he learns that the story did not begin or end the way he believed. Nick's misgivings about the contract he signed continue to grow, as do his feelings for Jane (who still refuses him).
