Amar Chitra Katha #11 [First Version]

The cover is from reprint. This version was sold around 30000 copies between 1967 and 1969.

Due to initial failure, this issue was re-written and redrawn by "Ram Wayeekar" (pen name "Manohar Chitre") who drew more than half of the old series Amar Chitra Katha (#11 to #436) and 2nd Version of #11 (1969).

p.s. Issues #1 to 10 were reprints of foreign comics (0.75 Rs), which were also discontinued. It is the reason, that starting with issue #11, this is considered the real Amar Chitra Katha (ACK) series.

The earlier cover version, was exported to Canada and sold at 1.25 CAD. Amar Chitra Katha #11 (1st Version) was the first of this series to be released in English, with the price as 1.25 Rs.
