Synopsis

Penny spends her summer vacation with Bert and Ellen Benton, and meets Bert’s brother Jim. Despite the warnings of her friends, Penny falls in love with Jim and agrees to marry him. However, Jim arrives a week later than promised, and postpones the wedding. Penny realises he is an irresponsible loser and she doesn’t really love him, so she slams the door in his face.
