Synopsis

Elaine isn’t interested in marriage because her parents’ marriage is dysfunctional and her friend Connie is unhappily married. When Elaine is nearly killed in an accident, the shock causes her parents to get back together. Sam, who’d claimed not to be interested in marriage, tells Elaine that he only said that because he knew how she felt. But he proposes now, and she accepts.
