Synopsis
Mary becomes engaged to Russ, a wartime friend of Tom. Tom, who also loves Mary, hits the skids at the news. Mary asks Tom to help Russ, who’s being blackmailed. Tom clears his friend but is arrested, and Russ refuses to help because it would compromise his political career. Mary breaks up with Russ and will marry Tom when he gets out of jail.
