Title in the colophon for the 'second edition' is "Serenity: Firefly Class: 03-K64 Volume 3-The Shepherd's Tale," and the cover logo features the "Firefly Class 03-K64" tag. There were at least nine printings of the hardcover, and printings four through nine feature the updated title and cover logo. The second and third printings still need to be determined.

Confusing matters, all printings' colophons state "First edition: November 2010" and unusual for a Dark Horse book, it doesn't mention the new date of the particular printing after the first's. Collectors will have to look at the printer's key (the line of numbers below the ISBN on the copyright page) to determine what printing they have.
