Synopsis
Laurie overcomes her shy nature by asking Larry for a dance, and then turns into a flirt, dating many boys and living her “life wildly and furiously.” She still craves “true love and affection.” Laurie thinks Dan may be the one, then discovers he’s going to marry Susan. Because of Laurie’s reputation, he didn’t think she was serious about him anyway. Laurie learns “it’s just as wrong to be brash as it is to be shy!”
