Synopsis

A human astronaut is sent alone, into space, to search for plant specimens to use as crops for a dying Earth. She encounters an alien being who belongs to a group of aliens of tremendous power, each identifying with a different polyhedron. She is inducted into the group and returns to Earth where she creates a new crop. She then leaves Earth to travel in space.
