Synopsis
Anne's mother is a snob and prevents her from associating with the "lower classes," including Steve. Steve goes off to war and Anne goes off to college. When they come back to town, Anne's mother tries to keep them apart, preferring lawyer Mark as a potential mate for her daughter. Anne is engaged to Mark but kisses Steve at a party. Afterwards, she becomes lost in the snow and Steve rescues her. Anne breaks her engagement and learns Steve has pneumonia; she nurses him back to health and they will wed.
