The Story of Electricity #[1986]

Synopsis

Ken, Pam, and Jim are playing video games when a tree falls on a power line causing the power to go out. They soon meet up with Ryan, an electric company repairman who tells them how the power gets to them and how they can trace power interruptions. Later they go to an Energy Information Center and Mrs. Mercer walks them through the history of the discovery and development of electricity along with how it is generated today. The tour ends with Mrs. Mercer talking about the importance of of energy conservation.
