Synopsis
Soft-Hearted John agrees to tear up the mortgages of the Dogpatch residents if Li'l Abner can bring him his heart's desire, a Stanley Steamer automobile.

Al Capp had numerous assistants at various times throughout the run of Li'l Abner. They are not easily identifiable. The story and art credits listed as Al Capp should more accurately be ascribed to Al Capp Studios. Until everyone who contributed to the art and story can be identified, story and art credits will read Al Capp.
