Synopsis

Chuck corresponds with his girlfriend Anne while he’s away at war; he also gets letters from Anne’s younger sister Kathy. Returning to the USA, Chuck is greeted by Kathy, who thinks he proposed to her in a letter, while Anne is cool to him. Chuck realises he must have mixed up his letters. Anne reveals this to Kathy, but Chuck decides Anne is “a selfish, inconsiderate brat!” and that Kathy is the better choice anyway.
