Synopsis
After her mother's death, Denys went to live with Mrs. Rudeman and her businessman son Mark. Denys is expected to marry Mark soon. Working at a Red Cross canteen for servicemen, Denys meets and falls in love with soldier Tim. Tim learns of her engagement but she says Mark needs her and she owes his family; Tim urges her to tell the Rudemans the truth. Denys overhears Mark and his mother discussing ways for him to avoid the draft. This frees her of her obligation to them, and she is reunited with Tim.
