Due to an error at the printer, the Sozomaika variant cover art was inadvertently switched with the Zoe Thorogood variant cover art for Poison Ivy #6. Lunar Distribution, the distributor of DC Comics, caught the error, but not before some with the Zoe Thorogood covers were shipped to some retailers. The corrected Sozomaika variant cover was later sent to retailers to go on-sale on 10/03/22, one month after the base issue and the other variants. It has a Publication Date of December 2022, while the base issue and other variants had a Publication Date of November 2022.

The Sozomaika variant cover was assigned a new barcode, as the barcode originally assigned to it was used by the Zoe Thorogood "error" variant cover.
