Synopsis

In the 1970's, Superman is still concerned about how the world views him. Bruce Wayne believes he can help Gotham more as Batman, so he steps down as CEO or Wayne Enterprises, but comes to regret his decision when Maxwell Lord takes over as CEO and prioritizes profits over people to Gotham's detriment. The Justice League disagrees on if they should be dealing with worldwide threats or small-time criminals. Brainiac arrives on Earth and plans to drain the planet's resources before the Anti-Monitor arrives to destroy their universe, and Brainiac offers Superman a role at his side.
